Are you a fan of pickles? Do you love poutine? Well, get ready because Harvey’s has just announced the return of their viral Pickle Poutine (now called the Triple Pickle Poutine) for a limited time! And this time, it comes with triple the pickles.
In case you missed it, Harvey’s introduced this unique twist on the classic Canadian dish in 2023 in response to a viral video from 2022 that quickly became a fan favourite. Since its introduction, the unique poutine has sparked a widespread debate on social media about whether pickles belong on the classic Canadian dish.
And now, by popular demand, it’s back at all Harvey’s locations until October 27, 2024, with even more pickles.
According to Meera Patel, Director of Marketing at Harvey’s, “If we know one thing, it’s that our guests are obsessed with our pickles. And, with the increased guest desire for adventurous flavours, it only made sense to play on those two factors to create this poutine. For us, 2024 is the year of pickles, and we intend to keep the momentum going.”
New pickle poutine
This year’s Triple Pickle Poutine features 100% Canadian cheese curds and fresh potatoes smothered in rich gravy. It’s topped with two crispy, deep-fried pickles, diced pickles, and a flavorful new twist of garlic dill sauce. This addition amplifies the pickle taste while replacing the original Ranch sauce, creating a deliciously tangy experience.

As you open the box, the delightful aroma of dill captivates your senses. Sitting atop a generous serving of classic poutine are two perfectly golden, deep-fried pickles, all drizzled with creamy garlic dill sauce that beckons you to dig in. Enhanced with chopped pickles, this tasty medley rests on a bed of soft cheese curds and crispy fries.
The pickles deliver a satisfying crunch, creating a contrast with the rich cheese curds and crispy fries. The creamy garlic dill sauce enhances the pickle flavour and merges beautifully with the gravy. With pickles showcased in three forms, each forkful bursts with pickle goodness.
